Three suicide bombers killed at least three other people in blasts which rocked the heart of Uganda's capital on Tuesday.
At least 33 people were being treated in hospital, including five who were in critical condition, said police spokesperson Fred Enanga.
The explosions sent members of parliament and others rushing for cover as cars burst into flames in the latest in a wave of bombing attacks.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility. But police said intelligence indicated to Reuters news agency that the Islamic State-aligned Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) were responsible.

Another family in Masaka is seeking to return the body of their daughter, Zaituni Zawedde who died in Saudi Arabia, where she was working as a domestic worker. Zawedde joins a growing list of Ugandans who have lost their lives in some of the Middle East countries, where they had sought jobs. Some activists blame the government for withdrawing the licenses of some recruitment agencies, without a clear plan of monitoring workers still employed abroad. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition

Suicide bombers have targeted the Ugandan capital Kampala, killing at least three people and injuring more than 30 others, police say.
Three attackers on motorbikes blew themselves up near parliament and the city's police headquarters.
The number of dead is likely to rise, with the blasts leaving body parts strewn in the streets.
The attacks came within three minutes of each other. More bombs have been found in other parts of the city, officials said.

Rights groups and the international community are raising the alarm over the human rights situation in Uganda -- drawing attention to what they call 'recurring credible accounts' of arbitrary arrests, forced disappearances and torture in the east African country.
They're blaming the government of President Yoweri Museveni, who's been in power since 1986. Now there's outrage after writer Kakwenza Rukirabashaija alleged he was tortured for weeks while in detention, after being arrested in December. A magistrate ordered his release last month. He has since published images of his back on social media - showing clear signs of the alleged torture.
Kakwenza Rukirabashaija has now fled Uganda. Human Rights Watch is demanding that
Uganda should drop all charges against him and investigate his allegations.
The satirist's most recent book is "Banana Republic: Where Writing is Treasonous." And he is the author of the 2020 satirical novel "The Greedy Barbarian," which describes high-level corruption in a fictional country.
Before Rukirabashaija fled, DW spoke to him in Kampala.
